As I may or may not have mentioned before, I spend my days driving around all day. This means I spend a lot of time with the radio on. When I can I listen to Catholic radio, not always an easy thing to do as there aren’t many around where I am. I miss my satellite radio. There tends to be a lot of people on Catholic radio with stories of what I call their God moment, either when they first herd God calling them to come back to the faith, or just telling them to do something. I’m not sue, but I think I am still waiting for my God moment.
If you follow politics, you’ll often hear the phrase, “the Common Good”. This is most often heard from those on the Progressive Left, who love to enact programs and laws which they claim are for the “Common Good”. It never seems to amaze me that a group who actively seeks to remove God and all religion from the “public square? love to use this term, which was actually firs used by the Catholic faith. Today at Mass, there were two young children in the pew in front of us with their parents. It was quite evident that three of the four really didn’t want to be there, the two kids and the father. It brought me back to when I was young, I didn’t want to be there either. This started me thinking about how my life has changed, especially in the last year.
