Today’s Gospel reading from Luke 10:38 – 42 is about Jesus entering the house of Martha and Mary, and how Mary sat at Jesus’ feet hile Martha did all the work. We all know how that is don’t we?

I’m pretty sure I have written before about my dreams, and how I believe this is one way in which Jesus talks to me. I believe He will and has in my case, send us messages in various way, many times we just don’t listen.

I came across this article in LifeNews today, about a rally at the Texas Statehouse. I think everyone who reads this knows I am against abortion, and this shows what kind of people tend to be for it.

C.S.Lewis, moral compass, morality
Lately I have begun reading C.S.Lewis’ “Mere Christianity“, a book he wrote in the early 1940’s. I find it amazing how relevant it is to the world today. He talks about how at that time we were losing our morality, just like now.

While at Mass today I was thinking about how many people learned to sing at church. Now, I am not talking about singing well, but at least where you can somewhat read the music for the Hymns and follow along, knowing about how long to hold a note or whether you need to sing higher or lower.
