What do these two numbers, forty and fifty five million, have in common? It’s been forty years since the Supreme Court said it was okay to kill babies, and fifty five million is the estimated number of babies which have been killed. That’s fifty five million human beings which didn’t have a choice as to whether they got to live or die. I guess being pro-choice is only for adults huh? Babies don’t get to have a choice?
Fifty five million is a lot. Ever wonder what these fifty five million babies could have grown up to be? Maybe one of them would have found a cure for cancer. Maybe one of them would have found a renewable energy source which would power everything with no harm to the environment. Maybe one of them would have been another Mother Theresa. I guess we’ll never know.
“Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception. From the first moment of his existence, a human being must be recognized as having the rights of a person – among which is the inviolable right of every innocent being to life.” – Catechism f the Catholic Church 2270
Yes it’s been forty years since the Supreme Court decided a woman had the right t choose to kill their child. I guess that’s what some call progress. Maybe you should call your mother and thank her for being pro-life.
