A Case of Twisted Logic

We’re better off dead, or so thinks at least one pro-abortion advocate. After the Alabama State Senate passed a very restrictive abortion law this week, Jameel Jamil an actress who of course knows what is best for all of us sent out a tweet expressing her anger. She has had an abortion and said it was the best thing for her and the baby. Really?

Not that I would expect anything different, but do people like this actually think before they speak?

“It was the best decision I have ever made. Both for me, and for the baby.” How about we ask the baby she murdered how she feels about it? Oh, we can’t because the baby didn’t have a choice, someone made the choice for her.

“So many children will end up in foster homes. So many lives ruined. So very cruel.” Wouldn’t that be just awful? Parents who really want children but can’t have them would be more than happy to have the baby that was just going to ruin their life. Putting up an innocent child for adoption definitely is crueler than having an abortionist tearing apart a baby with scissors and forceps.

If you really want to be pro-choice, then choose not to have sex. If you practice abstinence then you will not have to have an abortion. I know, I know, there are very good reasons for having abortions such as becoming pregnant due to rape and incest, and when the mother’s health is in danger. Too bad no one can agree on any actual statistics on just how many there are.

It is also sad that so many people love to talk about human rights, and how everyone should have them. Obviously, they don’t consider unwanted babies, babies with possible birth defects, inconvenient babies, wrong sex babies and the elderly as humans.

It is sad that there are so many people like Jameela who actually believe the lies they have been told about abortion. Can we ever change their minds? Only God will be able to do that. We can help Him by spreading the truth. We can pray for these people and pray that Alabama will win the lawsuits that are sure to come. Maybe it will be taken all the way to the Supreme Court and Roe vs. Wade will be overturned. But there is one sure thing.

When we are all called in front of the true Supreme Justice, He will decide if abortion is right or wrong.
