After I wrote my last post I had another one of those “coincidences” where out of the blue something happened to shake things up. It is starting to make me think that God really is listening to me.

First, let me start by saying I don’t believe in coincidences. There was a time when I did, but in the last few years, too many things have happened in my life to chalk them up to coincidence. No, I think everything happens for a reason. Behind that reason is God.

As I wrote in my last post, things have not been all that great at my job, mostly because of the environment, at least in my department. It certainly isn’t very Christian friendly. I listed three things a person can do when things aren’t good at their job, change things, accept things, or leave. I am at an age where I don’t really want to start over unless…

When I finished writing the post my phone rang and I received a call about a job opportunity. At this time I can’t get into the details, but isn’t it funny how this person who called somehow knew I was thinking of making a change?

I will be doing a lot of talking with God for the next week or so. I already am taking Holy Week off so I can attend the various Easter celebrations during the week, therefore I will be spending plenty of time with the Lord. Maybe He will have some answers for me. Stay tuned.
