In my fantasy world I wouldn’t have to work for a living and I could do nothing but read and write all day, but alas like so many other fantasies I have had, it is not to be, at least not yet. which is why this follow up to an earlier post may not be breaking news.According to an article on Lifenews.com the Catholic Bishops will be investigating any ties that the Girl Scouts may have to Planned Parenthood.
The nation’s Catholic bishops are coordinating an investigation of the Girl Scouts, following years of mounting evidence showing the youth organization having ties to the nation’s biggest abortion business, Planned Parenthood.
If you are wondering why the Bishops would get involved, it is becasue many parishes sponsor troops and/or let them use church facilities. As stated in the Washington Post:
Potentially at stake is whether troops can continue meeting in Catholic churches, and whether many Catholic girls, who make up a quarter of the nation’s 3 million Girl Scouts, will continue in scouting as the organization marks its 100th year.
As a Wayward Catholic who hasn’t paid much attention in the past to what has been going on in the Catholic Church, or even to politics in general, it is good to see the Bishops taking some action.
We’ll see what becomes of the investigation.

I agree. I was just stating to my husband how proud I am of our Church for standing up against so many things that are hurting the good of mankind. Thanks for sharing. God Bless, SR
Yes, it is good to see the Church looking into things and taking a stand. I think for too long they let things slide. I only hope it isn’t too late.
